What is enhanced access?
Enhanced access is an optional monthly membership for patients who would like greater access to Dr. Kocher between scheduled appointments.
The membership provides additional communication and support, and is designed for patients who value having an additional way to reach the practice when questions or concerns arise between visits.

What Enhanced Access Does Not Include

- A substitute for scheduled psychiatric appointments
- Services that are otherwise billed through insurance or separately charged
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I receive care without Enhanced access?
Yes. Enhanced Access is completely optional. All patients continue to receive the same individualized psychiatric care, scheduled appointments, medication management, and access to the secure patient portal whether or not they enroll in Enhanced Access.
Does the $100 membership replace my appointment fees or insurance?
No. The $100 monthly Enhanced Access membership is separate from fees associated with scheduled appointments, insurance copays, deductibles, or other services that may be billed through insurance or charged separately.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes. You may cancel your Enhanced Access membership at any time in accordance with the membership terms. Once canceled, you will return to Regular Access and will continue to receive your usual psychiatric care.
Is Enhanced Access an emergency service?
No. Enhanced Access is not intended for emergencies, urgent psychiatric situations, or crisis care. If you are experiencing a psychiatric emergency or feel that you may be in immediate danger, call 911, go to the nearest emergency department, or call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
What is considered excessive use?
Enhanced Access is designed to provide additional communication and support between scheduled appointments, but it does not include unlimited messaging or unlimited clinical care. If the frequency, complexity, or nature of communication would be more appropriately addressed during a scheduled appointment, you may be asked to schedule a visit.
